Ahhhh, the joys of being a parent. Sadly in my case it all ended badly and I am forever estranged from my four children. How easy they forget all the wonderful stuff I did for them. I would have died for them, I almost did. I have never had so much as a quick telephone call or even a free email, saying “Hey Dad, how ya doin?” Never even so much as a birthday card. Oh well, ya win some of life’s battles and lose a lot. Great story. Thank you.
