That writer turned up the temperature, and so I did too. And if my story lacks credibility because of the heat, it is because the other one did as well.

In fact, over the last four years I have written over 900 stories about a wide variety of subjects and topics, and this topic is one I have written relatively little about.

I did of course consciously consider the manner, and considering the responses from both sides of the divide, I do believe that I got it right. A part of the idea was to challenge people, to provoke a response. In that respect, it worked.
