Good question. I think after fifteen years alone I had healed from previous hurts. By that time I had also moved on from narrow mindedly thinking all women are the same due to meeting lots of great women, though spoken for. However, I think the big difference was the woman in question. She is Japanese and a totally different kettle of fish.
