Hi John, thank you reading and your response. I take your point about whether or not intention is a sign of intelligence. I happen to believe that it is. However, this morining I did an edit to tighten up one or two points and the intention thing happened to be one of them, suggesting I already had thoughts along your line of thinking. As you say, it is all a very big can of worms and the scientific community do have the habit of at times making quite ludicrous claims. One thing that was interesting to me when it came out was when Stephen Hawking claimed that nothing can come out of a black hole. He later confessed that he was wrong and that some things can indeed escape a black hole. And on we go guessing our way around it all.
