Hi Lawson. This reminds me of 2020 when I was having a routine health check in a private Japanese hospital. During a scan a doctor came in after being summonsed by the woman doing the scan. After two minutes looking at the scan the doctor said to me “So, when exactly did you have the heart attack?” I went into shock. “What bloody heart attack?” I exclaimed. “We’ll talk about it later in my office," he replied.

Turns out at some time in the previous two years I had what is called a silent heart attack. No symptoms, nothing. Next thing I knew I was having a camera fed into the vein in my wrist and fed up my arm and across my chest directly into my heart to assess the extent of the damage. I was pre-warned that there was a chance that this process could trigger another heart attack or stoke.

My lovely wife assured me that he best place to die of a heart attack or stroke was in a hospital operating theatre.

In the end, they put me on meds, saying the damage was not as bad as it first looked. So far I’m doing ok. Scary shit all the same.

Oh, and yes, they also found signs of a mini stroke. What a bloody life. Oh well, be good my man and have a nice day.
