I too have been prepositioned in a very similar way SM at a train station in Manchester. Like you I was horrorfied and angry. In my case he actually persisted some despite my protestations that I was not interested. Like yourself, I gave off no signals indicating that I was a good prospect. But I would classify him as a pervert not gay. I have a great many gay friends and members in my family and they really are the most delightful people. I can't tar them all because of one fool.
