I went through the same type of experience with my kids and sadly lost them forever. The poison they were fed about me comprehensively did its job and I have not had any contact with them for fifteen years. Only recently, I tried yet again to reach out to them and they would not even let me have their addresses to send Christmas cards. Thankfully I have a wonderfully happy life with my new wife and harbour no ill will. Quiet acceptance rules the day. Well done you, you are awesome.
