Nagging, for me, is somebody is constantly trying to micromanage me when the things they are nagging to get done, have already been done or are being done as the nagging starts. I agree, people should not have to constatnly ask for something to be that needs to be done. As regards what the author wants to accompish, it was to educate readers who might be interested to know, what are in my humble opinion, some of the things that can contribute to the break down of a marriage. I shouldn't have to spell that out, but maybe you thought I had some other reason. It certainly was not just for the sake of having a go at women in general.
