Perhaps a friend of mine is right, we are predisposed to be unfaithful, and nature gives a helping hand by tying up one partner with children, leaving the errant man free to go off and procreate with A.N.Other. It's all for the perpetuation of the species. The higher the number of children produced, the greater the possibility of our long term survival as a race.
