The idea that Shakespeare stole his plots has been more than well documented. I personally believe that there is a very fine line at times between plagiarism and inspiration. The fact of the matter is that everything creative is simply a repackaging of what went before. Another point to make is that it has been believed for many years that Shakespeare was in fact a pseudonym for A.N. Other, like Bacon, or Marlow, or De Vere or......the list goes on and on. I'm sorry you find the language tedious. Maybe that is something which is more the fault of the reader than the writer. As for me being blind to the faults as you call them in some myopic state of idol worship, sorry, not the case. I do not have a bent perspective as you say, nor even merely a taught perspective. You do me a great discredit I'm afraid, but that's ok, you dont know me from Adam, so how could you know? I am in fact I highly qualified student and teacher of English literature, as well as being a writer in my own name. My perspective kind sir is one born of extensive study rather than teaching. I am glad that you like King Lear, which happens to be my favourite of the Bard's plays. If you don't mind me saying, I do get the impression that you are somewhat younger and perhaps less studied than myself. I say that not to appear in anyway superior, but rather than to disabuse you of any assumptions you may have that my learning is in someway lagging behind your own. Likewise I am replying to you because you appear to be a nice well meaning person. And in the nicest possibe way might I suggest you revise your article in terms of clarity. There times I was not entirely sure of what you were trying to say. Have a nice day. https://medium.com/illumination-curated/five-books-that-made-me-who-i-am-b962fb27bfa3?sk=3658982719bf420ad382f73de84482c5
