This happened to me. My lovely first wife, in the thralls of an affair unbeknownst to me at that time, suggested we have an open marriage. She suggested that her lovers could use the front door and mine the back door. One thing she failed to explain was that she had already started down that path. However, her request was enough to arouse my suspicions, and they turned out to be very well founded. Anyway, I point blank refused to accept the suggestion and started to investigate her extra marrital activities. Of course, it ended in divorce. Then, post divorce, as soon as she saw me with another woman she became insanely jealous and destructive. Indeed, she did more than enough ruin that second marriage with her lies and false accusations. These days I live on the far side of the planet and don't have anything to do with either of these totally unreasonable ex-wives. I am now happily remarried and live a life of joy and absolute bliss. I get the impression that both exes are still alone, even after all these years. Tough shit ladies, you got what you wanted, freedom to do what you please.That old saying “Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.” has never been more true.
