Those of us who have lived long enough know all too well how things used to be compared to now. Great strides have been made. However, the patriarchal system enslaves all of us, men and women, and likes to set us all at each others throats to distract us from corporate and political excesses. Neither men nor women have the monopoly on suffering at the hands of the patriarchs. I know that does not go with the narrative of certain women, but that doe not mean it is not true. Thank you.
